Watch the video as Chase Elliott runs into Ross Chastain under caution at Darlington Raceway
Ross Chastain has been added to the enemies list of more NASCAR drivers.
On Saturday, NASCAR Cup Series drivers Ross Chastain, Chase Elliott and Christopher Bell all entered the Xfinity Series race at Darlington Raceway. In the closing laps, they rubbed doors.

On a restart in the final stage of the race, Ross Chastain threw a slider on Chase Elliott as they raced inside the top 5. Chastain crowded him. Elliott lifted but Elliott still made contact with the outside wall.
A caution came out moments later. Under the yellow, Elliott pulled even with Chastain and gave him a swipe in the door. He then pulled behind him and leaning on his bumper for the length of the straight under caution.
After the race, Elliott told Steve Post via MRN of the incident, “Nothing. I enjoyed it. It was great. Want more of it.”

Moments later, we saw more of the same…
With just 23 laps to go, Chastain pulled a nearly identical move on Christopher Bell for 2nd. In this case, there was more contact than the previous.
Bell got into the wall and left with a tire rub. However, a caution came out laps later allowing him to change tires before a blowout.
Bell stated over the radio as he rolled to the pit lane, “I am plowing tight after Ross fenced me.
This comes after Joey Logano criticized Chastain for moves at both COTA and last week at Martinsville Speedway.

“I haven’t seen a replay but I don’t think I left him enough room, Ross Chastain told The CW after the race of the incident with Christopher Bell.
“I needed to leave him a couple more inches, obviously. I felt the right rear and bailed out, trying to get down. It hurt his day and crinkled our fender too.”
“Yeah, fenced him,” Chastain said as he watched the replay for the first time.
On Sunday, the NASCAR Cup Series drivers will race at Darlington Raceway including Chastain, Elliott and Bell.
